KEEPING BRIDESMAID DRESSES PERFECT FOR THE WEDDING

wedding dress dry cleaning to keep your dress perfect. How can you make sure that your bridesmaid dress, or even bridal dress for that matter, stays clean and wrinkle free for the wedding? Consider some tips on how to keep your bridal and bridesmaid dresses looking beautiful.

1.Avoid Stains
Wine, right? Not only should you avoid food and drink stains but even flower stains. Certain types of flowers can leave stains on dresses so ask you florist if the flower could potentially stain a bridal gown. It could be that the flower is fine but simply needs part of it removed so as not to stain the dress.

2.Bring An Extra Emergency Kit
You were wise enough to bring a bridal emergency kit, complete with sewing supplies and extra makeup. But what about an iron and spray bottle? You might need it if your dress needs some last minute ironing. Furthermore, what are you supposed to iron on? Is the iron battery operated? It might also help you to bring a mini-ironing board (sold at many all purpose retail stores) and an extension chord.

3.Hold Up The Dress From The Ground
A low flowing dress will get dirty quick just by casually brushing against the ground. To keep your dress clean on those long walks, use barrettes so that you can hold up the dress and protect it from dirt.

4.Put Your Make Up On First
A lot of fine dresses have been ruined because someone put the dress on first and then touched up their make up, leaving smudge marks all over the dress. By putting your make up on first, you minimize the risk of accidentally rubbing any off on the dress. If an emergency touch up is required always use a towel or drape cloth.

5.Look Before You Sit
This applies everywhere from random chairs to car seats to the walls of the dressing room. Leaning on a wall or sitting down without looking leaves you open to oil stain, dirt stains, food or drink stains-you name it. Always examine a seat or wall carefully before sitting. You might even wish to wipe the area clean with antibacterial formula (along with a careful dry!) just to be safe.

Make sure your bridesmaid dress never steals attention away from the moment of the bride-especially if it's because it's covered with dirt and smudges!
